Vietnam 68-69, Special Operations, USMACV SOG. Last tour of duty was as a Navy Recruiter in my home town of Salina. Am still living in Salina, married Donna Norris (Class of 59). We have been married for 21 years, both have children from previous marriages. We are both very active with our local VFW Post. I am twice past Commander of our VFW post, and currently serving as Post Chaplain. Donna is twice past president of the Ladies Auxiliary to the VFW, and is currently the Auxiliary Treasurer. Looking forward to hearing from some of you.

Retired in mid '09, after 8 years Systems Security Engineering Programs, 7 years as a Program Manager on Air Force Space Command and US Space Command Programs, and closed out my Aerospace Engineering career spending 8 years as the Ground-Base Missile Defense Test Director, with 9 successful missile intercepts.

Henry W Fair II, Captain (RET) USAF, retired after 23 years of service. He first served as an enlisted Aircraft Electro-environmental Systems specialist at Hurlburt Field AFB, Florida. Served in the Air Force from 1968 to 1972 plus a couple years of inactive reserve. Worked in the intelligence field - had a very high level security clearance. Glad to have served in the Air Force, it was a good experience and with help from the GI Bill, graduated from the University of South Florida, in Tampa.

Sea duty included extensive operations above the Artic Circle, in Europe and the Mediterranean, and in the Western Pacific and South China Sea. Ashore assigned to the Office of the Chief of Naval Operations, Washington, DC, initially with the Saudi Naval Expansion Program which included a year living in Dhahran, Saudi Arabia and a second tour as Head of Navy Foreign Military Sales to eight countries in Northern Europe plus NATO and Canada.

Proud of these guys. And there resollve. Oh yes for the record the troops preferred good old hamburgers to steak!

Michel "Mick" McAuliffe

Brigadier General Michael A. McAuliffe retired as The Civil Engineer for Headquarters, Air Combat Command, Langley Air Force Base, VA. He was responsible for all civil engineering activities including force readiness; installation and facility planning, programming, design, construction, operation, and maintenance; housing operation; environmental planning, compliance, policy and oversight, and restoration; fire protection; air base operability, explosive ordnance disposal; and resource management for over 15,000 civil engineering personnel operating and maintaining ACC's $41 billion physical plant at 37 major installations and numerous smaller installations.
The general entered the Air Force in August 1965 as a distinguished graduate of the Kansas State University Reserve Officer Training Corps program. He has commanded a civil engineering flight and squadron, was deputy chief of staff for engineering and services for two major commands, and has worked several assignments at Air Force headquarters.
He retired as the second most senior engineer in the Air Force

Went into the reserves for the next 20+ years during which time I was recalled for Desert Shield and Storm, but only got as far as the Pentagon. Finally retired as a full colonel about fifteen years ago. It was an interesting experience.
