Jim Ward '60 said:

George was a 1959 graduate of SS. Peter and Paul High School, the University of Detroit and
the University of Michigan Law School. He married Margaret Barbour in 1968.
A lifelong attorney, he served sixteen years as Chief Deputy Prosecuting Attorney, Wayne County before his retirement. He was also an Adjunct Professor at Michigan State University Law School.
He was survived by Margaret, daughters, Molly, Teresa and Anne, sons, Bill and Tom, their spouses, and nine grand children.
A memorial mass was held on January 10, 2024 at St Kenneth Catholic Church, Plymouth MI.
