Class of 1963
I always wanted to be a writer. I listened to every word English Teacher Florence Laverty said. I wrote poems for the Falcon Flyer and was class of '63 yearbook writing editory. In my ongoing career, I have served as a journalist, magazine editor and corporate writer. Now I have, at last, written my first book. It is called "Fairy Tales for Women Who Have Been Through the Mill" and it is for everyone who has every had their heart broken, has found their true love, been in a relationship that wasn't perfect, or ever doubted themselves. In other words--for everyone.
The book is a collection of my original fairy tales that have meaning for today. The stories will make you think and examine your own feelings and relationships, with yourself and others. Fairy tales are the language of the heart! I have received excellent reviews from professionals as well as five stars from readers.
I hope you will take a look at it on Amazon.com and buy a copy. It makes a great "girlfriend gift" for the holidays.
If the link doesn't work, search for "Fairy Tales For Women Who Have Been Through the Mill" by Elaine Auerbach. The beautiful illustrations are the work of my professional artist daughter, Alisa Amor. The book will soon be out as an ebook but the illustrations alone are worth the cost of the hard copy.
