I found my father's Rye High class ring of 1953. His name was Paul Franz and he passed away in 2005. My son has been wearing the ring recently but it is missing something. The ring was made by Jolstens (inscribed inside) and is gold with what looks like an inlaid ruby or perhaps garnet . There was something attached to the ruby with two studs as all that remains are the two holes. I am trying to find out what that was attached to the ruby so I can have another made to fit. Can anyone help me determine what that might have been? I can email a picture of the ring if that will help. If anyone has information please contact me at bfranz@att.net. Thank you,
