About	Bernard A. McDonald 54, of Rushville, passed away June 30, 2015 at Rush Memorial Hospital. He was born in Rushville August 13, 1960 the son of Elmer McDonald and the late Nancy Pratt Moore. He graduated Rush Consolidated High School in 1978 and was employed as a factory worker at Honda in Greensburg. He worked at American Precast in Indianapolis as a welder and retired in 2008 after 30 years. Bernie loved photography, riding his Harley and being a certified pilot. He is survived by his father Elmer (wife Bonnie) McDonald of Rushville; a daughter, Cynthia McDonald of Columbus, GA; a son, Thomas McDonald of Rushville; his former wife of 30 years, Lisa Sweet McDonald of Chattanooga, TN; two brothers, Elmer Michael McDonald of Greensburg and Thomas DeWayne (Elke) McDonald of Arlington; three sisters, Janet Fay Hatfield, Kim A Bulmer both of Rushville and Vickie Sue Bussberg of Greensburg. nephew Trevor (Kirby) McDonald of Rushville as well as several other nieces and nephews also survive. A Celebration of Life service will be 10 AM Friday July 3rd at Todd Funeral Centre & Crematory with Tyler McDonald officiating. Visitation will be Thursday from 4 to 8PM at the funeral centre. Cremation will follow the service. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Rushville Animal Shelter 133 W. First St. Rushville, IN 46173.
