Ed Karstens, 86, of Chattanooga passed away Thursday, March 26, 2009 at his home.
He was a Veteran of WWII and a member of Our Lady of Perpetual Help Catholic Church.
He is survived by his wife of 63 years; two sons; one daughter; five grandchildren; two brothers.
He is a most cherished husband, father and grandfather and will be greatly missed.
There will be a private mass for the family on Monday.
Burial will be in Chattanooga National Cemetery.
The family wishes to extend many thanks to the caregivers at Amedisys Hospice and may God bless you as you have blessed us.
Memorial contributions may be made to the Gift Fund at Chattanooga National Cemetery for beautification of the cemetery grounds.
