About Beverly A. Koelmel, 74, a lifelong Rushville resident passed away Saturday, November 15, 2014 in Indianapolis, IN.

Beverly was born on January 11, 1940 in Canton, IN to the late Howard and Mary Gail (Perdiew) Sullivan. She was a 1958 graduate of Rushville High School and attended Indiana University.

Beverly married Theodore A. Koelmel on July 22, 1978 and he survives. She was employed at Schnadig Corp in the Engineering Dept. for 5 years and at J.E. Dean as an administrator and bookkeeper for 20 years and worked part time at Ken Rushton Ins.

Beverly was a former member of Little Flatrock Christian Church and a current member of Rushville First Baptist Church. She was a past Tri Kappa member, a member of the Homemakers Club, and received the Indiana Accommodation Award from the Indiana National Guard for her work in the Family Readiness Support Group and was a member of the Marmon Car Club and was also active in ladies golf.

She is survived by her husband, Theodore of Rushville, 2 sons, Brad Lacy and wife Jill of Frisco, TX, and Scott Lacy and wife Veronica of Fishers, IN, a daughter, Monika Fussner of Rushville, sister, Sandra and husband Robert Cox of Sun City, FL, 5 grandchildren, Shawn Fussner, Mia and Jenna Lacy, Tyler and Morgan Lacy, a niece Kendra Slowik, 2 nephews, Bob and Kevin Cox, 1 uncle, several aunts and cousins.

Beverly was preceded in death by her parents.

Services will be held at 10 AM Friday, November 21, 2014 at Moster Mortuary, Rushville. Pastor Jay Noll will preside. Friends are welcome to visit from 4-8 PM Thursday at the Mortuary. Burial will be in Rushville’s East Hill Cemetery.

Memorial contributions may be made to the American Diabetes Assoc., American Lung Assoc., Rushville First Baptist Church or the Gideon’s International.
