About	Howard S. Redden, 89, a long time Rush Co. resident passed away Saturday, July 6, 2013 in Rushville. Howard was born on April 12, 1924 in Lewis Co., KY to the late Floyd E. and Lester Helen (McCane) Redden. Howard lived most of his life in Rush County, and was a 1943 graduate of Rushville High School. He married Seraph A. Marshall on April 14, 1945 and she preceded him in death on May 15, 2010. Howard was a retired Rush County farmer and was an active member of Center Christian Church. Howard leaves behind 3 sons, Steven and wife Marjorie Redden of New Palestine, IN, David and wife Tami Redden of Noblesville, IN and Joseph Redden and friend Mary Richey of Rush Co., 2 daughters, Mary Ann and husband Randy Kirk of Corydon, IN and Lisa and husband Steve Moore of Johnson City, Tennessee, 12 grandchildren and 22 great grandchildren. In addition to his wife and parents, Howard was preceded in death by 2 sisters, Pauline Self and Norma Miller. The family would like to extend a special thanks to the staff at Millers Merry Manor. Services will be held at 12 PM Tuesday, July 9, 2013 at Center Christian Church. Rev. Keet Redden and Bill Worrell will preside. Friends are welcome to visit from 11 AM until the time of service that same day at the church. Burial will follow at Center Cemetery. Memorial contributions may be made to Center Christian Church.
