Greensburg - Franklin H. Major, 61, Greensburg, passed away Tuesday, Aug. 13, 2012 at Methodist Hospital in Indianapolis.
Franklin was born June 27, 1951 in Shelbyville, a son of Margaret (Foster) King of Greensburg and the late Richard E. Major Sr.
He is survived by his mother Margaret King of Greensburg, sons Keith Haughton of N.H., Chad of Tennessee, Shane of Connersville and Dawton and Frank of Georgia; five grandchildren and a brother, John Major of St. Paul.
He was preceded in death by his daughter Susan.
Funeral services begin at 11 a.m. Saturday, Aug. 18 at Burns Funeral Home in Milroy, Rev. Phillip Mitchel officiating.
Visitation is from 5 to 7 p.m. Friday, Aug. 17 at the funeral home.
Burial follows in East Brook Cemetery.
Frank did not graduate believed to be in the Cloass of 1969.
