About	Mona Jo Woods, 57, a lifelong Rushville resident, passed away suddenly at 12:20 p.m. Wednesday, March 30, 2011, in Rush Memorial Hospital. Mona Jo Woods was born August 14, 1953 in Rushville to James and Madeline (Barnard) Woods, both deceased. She worked many years as a carrier for the Indianapolis Star and The Rushville Republican. She was a 1973 graduate of Rushville Consolidated High School. She leaves behind brothers, Carroll E. "Butch" and wife Linda Woods, Carl F. Woods, David L. Woods, all of Rushville, and James E. Woods of Knightstown; sisters, Caron "Susie" Woods and Angelia Woods of Rushville; and several nieces and nephews. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by two brothers and a sister. Funeral services will be held at 10 a.m. Saturday, April 2, at Moster Mortuary, Rushville, with Ray Sweet III officiating. Friends are welcome to visit from 4 to 8 p.m. Friday at the mortuary. Burial will be in Rushville's East Hill Cemetery. Memorial contributions may be made to the Rushville Animal Shelter.
