About	Carol Ann Warner, 70, of Auburn, died July 31, 2009. Born Dec. 19, 1938 in Rushville, she was the daughter of John and Jean Kirkpatrick, both deceased. Mrs. Warner was a 1956 graduate of Rushville High School and a 1960 graduate of Ball State University where she received her degree in nursing. She was a registered nurse in the U.S. Air Force and had worked at Parkview Hospital and most recently Betz Nursing Home as director of nursing. She was a member of American Legion Post 97 and Moose Lodge 566. Survivors include sons, Steve (Laura) Warner of Westfield and Jeff (Angie) Warner of Auburn; grandchildren, Sean, Charlie, Ethan and Jonah; brothers, John (Beverly) Kirkpatrick of Reno, Nev. and Bill (Becky) Kirkpatrick of Brownsburg. Besides her parents she was preceded in death by her husband, John Evans. A Celebration of Life service will be held at 11 a.m. Tuesday with calling one hour prior at Pinnington-McComb Funeral & Cremation Services in Auburn. Visitation will be 4 to 8 p.m. Monday at the funeral home. A graveside service will be held at 1 p.m. Saturday at Center Christian Church Cemetery in Rush County.
