About	David Allen Truster David Allen Truster Oct 15, 1964 - Dec 9, 2021 David Allen Truster, 57, died unexpectedly December 9, 2021, at his home. A lifetime Rush County resident, Dave farmed the family farm for over 20 years. Prior to farming, he owned the Carmel Pizza King and worked at Truster Buildings. Dave was happiest spending time with his children and family. He enjoyed learning about nature and being outdoors. He was an active member of First Presbyterian Church where he served as an elder and was a dedicated choir member. He loved all types of music and sang in the Rush County Chorale. Dave raised a variety of exotic farm animals and loved sharing them with visitors to his barn. He also collected unusual antique farm relics and tractors, and Pabst advertising items. His many friends will remember his storytelling, quick wit, friendly smile, and generous heart. He leaves behind children Zachary Noah of Milroy, George Nicholas, and Lillian Grace of Rushville; granddaughter Hazel Leanne of Milroy; parents George and Mary Jane (Meek) Truster of Manilla; sister Carol Lempke of Shelbyville; brother Jeff of Carmel, and several nieces and nephews. The family suggests memorial gifts be given to the Caldwell Acres Pioneer Engineers Club or the First Presbyterian Church. Visitation will be Wednesday, December 15 from 4 to 8 p.m. at Moster Mortuary in Rushville. The funeral service will be Thursday, December 16 at 10 a.m. at First Presbyterian Church in Rushville, with burial following at Moscow Cemetery. Rev. Dena Vittorio will preside.
