Walter found joy in praising the Lord’s wisdom and name through the gift of his guitar and voice. As a member of the Highlanders Football Team and President of the Christian Club, he built deep friendships and was loved by many. Walter enjoyed playing soccer, riding bikes, and watching comedies—but above all, he lived each day striving to reflect the image of God in all he did. Walter tragically passed away during a family camping trip in Yosemite. In an act of immense courage and selflessness, he jumped into the water to save his mother and father from drowning. His family will always recognize him as a true hero. Walter’s bravery, faith, and joyful spirit will be remembered forever. He will be deeply missed by all who knew and loved him.
