About Me	The short version is that my husband passed away in 2000. Before he died, we left Corpus Christi and moved to Fairbanks, Alaska for his work for almost 3 years. I absolutely LOVED it, and many times I wish I was still there. When we moved back to Texas (for medical reasons for me), we decided to move to just outside of Denton, TX - Pilot Point - because I discovered that I had a sister there. I had been adopted, so this was surprising but happy news. I've often wished that I could visit Corpus Christi once or twice again to see old friends and visit places that I still have wonderful memories of, but alas the only time I was able to get back was when my mother passed away in 1990 and I had to go back and settle the estate and sell the house. I'd LOVE to go back and see it, but I no longer drive for medical reasons - which just breaks my heart because I LOVED to drive all over the place, especially to Austin and San Antonio - but Austin especially will always hold a very dear place in my heart. I basically spent the 1970's there, and the 70's and latter 60's were definitely the time to be in Austin!!!! I have memories of Austin that I will take to my grave with me - and that is exactly where they should go!! I need to take some of those memories with me if I wanted to stay out of jail probably (I say with a very big smile on my face!!!), nothing bad, just way way too much fun!!!!!
