After graduation, I attended college off & on. (We moved a lot!) I graduated with MS, Geography in 1983, taught college Geography for 14 years, moved back home to Arkansas, & have had a great life since. I am married (almost 38 years), have 2 children & 3 granddaughters. I l9ve lufe & write poetry as a means of processing my life. I won various local, state, & national awards as a Geography Assoc. Professor at College of Glen Ellyn (IL). I dearly loved teaching, passing along my passion for my favorite subject. My goal was to help students understand how the world really works, while giving them map knowledge & cultural/historical understanding of the world. It was a wonderful career & I loved it very much. After retiring, I write ( most often poetry), travel, & have a great life with my sweetheart, Hank. We have 4 dogs. I have a son & daughter from a previous marriage. I am a staunch liberal Democrat, atheist, & wordmonger. I hope everyone has had a wonderful life.
