| About Me | I was pulled out of class one day a few weeks before my Junior year was up at Roswell High, and told that I was going to go on to college (I was 16). I was told I was through at Roswell High, and to clean out my locker. That was it. No opportunity to say goodbye to anyone...no graduation, no prom... It was just me and my mom in the Superintendant's office, when I went to pick up my diploma. I attended SAGC in Waxahachie, TX. During the 2nd semester of my sophomore year, I dropped out. Although I may have been academically ready for college at age 16, I was not ready emotionally. I did manage to complete 48 credit hours in three semesters, but did not receive a degree. My major was Elementary Education, and my minor was Music. I married Mike Moss, who was the Associate Pastor at First Assembly of God in Roswell. After 8 1/2 years as an associate pastor, he became senior pastor when the pastor retired. We served at First Assembly for 21 years. We put down some deep roots! We'll celebrate 35 years of marriage in June, 2009. Our oldest daughter and son-in-law live in Houston, and have twin 4-year-old girls. Our youngest daughter and 10-year-old grandson live in El Reno. We have pastored in Scottsdale, AZ; Pampa, TX; and currently pastor in El Reno, OK, a small town west of Oklahoma City. I have had some interesting jobs-- church secretary, different jobs with temp agencies, mystery shopping, and Spanish interpreter. I've worked many shifts as a substitute teacher until last year. I currently have 36 private piano students, and in the past taught piano lab for two years in an after-school program. I love teaching--especially when you see the light bulb come on when a student "gets it." And, I love playing the piano. By teaching piano I get to do both. I play by note, but also by ear, and teach my students to do the same. I also serve as the music director, wedding and nursery coordinator, off-and-on youth director and Sunday School teacher, and my husband's administrative assistant at the church.
