About Me	Since leaving Roslyn, I’ve had the good fortune to live in some of the loveliest and most interesting cities in the U.S., from the San Francisco Bay Area for around 15 years, to Seattle before it became the almost frenetically growing Silicon Valley type Mecca begun with Microsoft, cycling to Starbucks, Amazon, and Facebook and Google. From there work took me to the beautiful Denver area, before landing in what was then a fairly slow paced but pretty city with lovely untouched parcels in its burgeoning suburbs. The Columbus Ohio I landed in in the late 80’s is now a beautifully cosmopolitan city with new FinTech and other software startups lured by the relatively affordable cost of living, the many academic institutions like The Ohio State University and much more. The Columbus inventory can’t keep up with the influx of millennials drawn to the area by these exciting startups, a multi-location Amazon Web Services presence. and familiar names like Google and Facebook breaking ground for facilities in a vast tech center being developed in one of our high end suburbs. In the last 18 years this city has either opened new baseball, hockey and soccer stadiums in the Downtown area. but become a big draw for national conferences and sporting events. My husband and I live in a lovely newly gentrified neighborhood just a mile from downtown in a 100 year old brick home with three Shihtzus, whom we adore.
