About Event
Our 30 year class reunion will be Saturday, Aug 15, 6pm-midnight at the Embassy Suites Airport (494 and 34th Ave S/7901 34th Ave S, Bloomington). We will be in the Willow Ballroom. Food (Hors d'oeuvres) will be included and there will be a cash bar.
By purchasing tickets, you will be RSVPing at the same time. Deadline for ticket purchasing/RSVPing is Friday, July 24. If you are unable to purchase a ticket(s) online, please let me (Lisa Thomas Johnson) know and I can make other arrangements. Ticket price is $26 per person. This will cover food and bartender costs.
A block of rooms at the Embassy Suites with a rate of $144/night has been set up for us for those Friday and Saturday nights. The cut-off date to make reservations under the discounted group rate is July 24th, or until all blocked rooms are booked. To book a room, there are two ways:

If you do not want to stay at the Embassy Suites, the two other closest hotels that are within walking distance are the Hilton Airport and Crown Plaza Airport. There are also a couple of hotels close to the Mall of America.
For those traveling via air, The Embassy Suites, Hilton and Crown Plaza all offer hotel shuttle service, or you can take the light rail directly from the airport (both terminals) to those hotels. There is a light rail stop right in front of the hotels. Purchase your light rail ticket on the train platform, then board the train traveling to the Mall of America. I believe it's the American Boulevard train stop that is in front of the hotels. You can't miss it.
A dance floor will be set up if anyone wants to get jiggy later. Music will be supplied, along with a memorial of classmates that are no longer with us.
