Dick was a passenger and one of five occupants in a car that was involved in a solo-vehicle accident on Dec 8, 1963 in Sonoma County. All five occupants were killed. At the time of the accident, Dick was stationed on the U.S.S. Coral Sea, at Alameda Naval Air Station.

I remember him my brother and him were good friends in high school. He was a nice guy I didn't realized he passed so young. I have a friend that was also on the Coral Sea about that same time I will ask him if he
knew him.
