Lance Jason Welch attended Roseburg High School in Roseburg, OR.

In high school, Lance was a member of the ROTC Drill Team and made his appearances on Friday night's as a member of the Roseburg High School Varsity Football Team.
After graduation he joined the Army and became a Tank Crewman. Lance returned to Roseburg after 3 tours in Desert Storm.
Lance had such enchanting charisma, that upon walking into a room, his mere presence was met with awe and attention. Yet, just one sideways glance, with his piercing blue eyes, could stop a person dead in their tracks. A man of very little words and an aura that rode vigorously on sound waves.
His sudden passing left behind a second wife, 2 biological children and 3 step-children, 1 sibling and both parents. Also, friends so close, in his heart, they were his brothers.
He will forever be missed.
