Joined the Iowa Army National Guard in 2006 as one of the oldest SPC in my platoon. Served the 2/34th BSTB at the Cedar Rapids Armory as the Supply Technician and Unit Armorer. Enjoyed every bit of firing those big guns. Qualified on the 9M with a higher score than my Commander.

Spent 17 years in Europe where I not only met my soul mate (Monika), had two beautiful kids (Mona & Bill) that are also serving our country. I was also fortunate enough to play both tackle football, softball and volleyball for many years at my various assignments and our family was able to travel most of Europe for both the sports and vacations. I continue to be an Air Force employee since my retirement on 01/01/2000.
