Born in Des Moines, Iowa. Lived in Ralston, NE at time of passing of lupus.
She performed secretarial duties at Hawkeye Insurance and Omaha bowling lanes in Omaha area. Born were 3 McDonald sons (father Dennis McDonald). Memorial service held at Iles Westover Funeral Home in Des Moines area at Westover Blvd and Hickman Rd. Buried at Highland Memory Gardens next to her parents' and maternal grandparents' (Haynes) graves at the foot of her Grandfather Haynes.

She was my, Mary (Harmon) Johnson, and my older sister's, Vonis Anne (Harmon) Miller's, "baby sister". She had beautiful, auburn, natural wave hair. In High School she enjoyed the company of Gary Simmer, a visitor from Highland Park to a neighbor of ours on 56th Street, the Godfreys. Gary had become a neighbor of ours, we discovered in 2012, on the South side. She married Dennis McDonald in Biloxi, Mississippi shortly after high school graduation. They lived in Biloxi, MS, then moved to Oxnard, CA, then moved to OK, back to DSM, and then to Omaha, NE. She was a good mother to her 3 sons.
