In a dark tunnel, I welcomed you home. I kept a part of you in a locket I wore near my heart. I loved you then and have for my entire life, even tho we were apart. I'm happy you experienced a beautiful love and a perfect family, happiness. You deserved no less. Just know, JJ, I loved you then, I have always loved you and in my old, doddering age (haha) I love you still. Always have always will. I remember watching you from my 3rd story window after you kissed me goodbye and I can still hear you whistle as you walk tall and straight toward home. You are the one that got away, the love of my life. I'm so sorry I never got to tell you this before you went away.
