About	Charles was born 21 Jul 1942 (photo Included in obituary.) Charles Edward McCann, DeWitt, age 65, died February 14, 2008. Charles was born July 21, 1942 in Trenton, MI. Mr. McCann spent 50-plus years of service with McDonald's and eventually owned eight McDonald franchises. He graduated from Wyandotte Roosevelt High School and was a cockswain on the rowing team. Charles had a love for Corvettes, both old and new, his prized possession being his '62 red convertible. He loved his family very much, keeping all of his daughters' school memorabilia. Charles loved spending his vacation time in Florida with his family walking the beaches. He was preceded in death by his mother and father, John and Loriene (Homeister) McCann, and his sister, Elaine McCann. Surviving are his three daughters, Nichole (Scott) Brown of Lansing, Gretchen (Matt) Chapin of Belleville, and Danielle McCann of DeWitt, and one grandson, Kyler Brown. He is survived by one brother, John C. (Tassia) McCann of Pittsburgh, PA and two sisters, Cynthia McCann of Gatlinburg, TN and Marianne Graham of Lansing. The funeral service will be held on Tuesday, February 19, 2:00 p.m. at Gorsline Runciman Funeral Homes, 205 E. Washington, DeWitt with the Rev. Dwight Ezop officiating.
