Served in the Army Band System as Instructor of Tuba at the Armed Forces School of Music and as an Arranger, Composer, and Senior Instrumentalist at Bands in Georgia(Ground Forces Band in Atlanta), ROK (8th Army Band, Seoul), and at the Tradoc Band (Ft. Monroe, VA). I was a SSG(P) at the time of my ETS in 1996.

Opticalman 2nd class From 1976-1984. Went to boot camp at Great Lakes Nave Training Center. After Boot Camp I was back at Great Lakes for Opticalman class a school. Then I was sent to the USS Sierra AD18 in Charleston S.C.. In 1980 I was sent to Lowery AFB for more schooling this time in the field of metrology. Then on to the USS Fulton AS11 in New London, Connecticut. till 1984.
