Dan Rector

Dan Rector

Class of 1996

Dan Rector was a graduate with the class of 1996. He was a multi-sport athlete. He graduated with 16 athletic letters. He was voted All Conference several times and Reserve All State and Academic All State for Football.

Dan went on to play four years of football at Franklin College, in Franklin, Indiana. He was a team captain his senior year and received the Dr. Woner Mental Attitude Award that same year.

Dan currently teaches high school at Whiteland High School in Whiteland, Indiana. He is the defensive coordinator for the Whiteland Warriors football team. They are a class 5A school and have had winning seasons during Dan's tenure.

Dan is serving his country in the National Guard in Iraq. He is expected home early in 2010. While in Iraq, he accepted an award for his Captain from 4 Star General Petraeus.

He is married to Amanda and they have two sons, Dane and Caleb. They live in northern Brown County.
