Jeffry Duane Mueller, 55, of Eldersburg, Md., died Sunday, Nov. 28, 2010, at Carroll Hospice, Westminster, MD.
Born July 5, 1955, in Moline, he was the son of the late Duane and Carolyn Hoefle Mueller. He was the husband of Kelly M. Mueller of Eldersburg.
He was a computer scientist with the defense department. He had bachelor of fine arts and bachelor of computer science degrees. He was widely published in the Baltimore Sun and Science News. He enjoyed weaving, playing the Irish tin whistle, solving math puzzles and his family.
In addition to his wife, he is survived by son James Jeffrey Mueller, of Oregon; daughter Susan Kelly Mueller, of Elderburg; brother Tim Mueller, of Williamsburg, VA; and sister Melanie Mueller, of Taylor Ridge.
The family will receive friends on Wednesday from 4 to 7 p.m. at the Jeffrey N. Zumbrum Funeral Home, 6028 Sykesville Road, Eldersburg, Md. Funeral services will be private.
