| About Me | I was in the printing business for close to 20 years, sales, production and finally a buyer for the last ten for a company in wilmette and lincolnshire. When the company closed down I bartended for 10 years as I had always kept my finger in the restauarant business as a second job being a single parent. It was only suppose to be temporary, but you know how that goes. I finally just need a change desperately and walked away without a plan. Best move ever, I took a job as a checker at Walgreens in my neighborhood full time and also a part time job with a podiatrist in the neightborhood. I make less money than I have my whole life but I'm happiest I've been in years. I really love going to work and that's a tradeoff I'm happy with.
