Matthew 23:11-12 Michael Yoakum has had a varied career in just a short span of time. A native of Columbia, Missouri, Yoakum is a proud graduate of Rock Bridge High School. Yoakum is also involved in many communnity projects. He is currently serving as Chairman of the city of Columbia's Substance Abuse Advisory Commission. He has served on this board since 2004. During 2008-2009, Yoakum also served on the Boone County Mental Health Board of Trustees. Although he is active in logal government, his love is in sports management. Since 2004, he has been the Director of Basketball Operations for the Rock Bridge Boys Basketball Team. Mike is currently working on a degree in Sports Management from Columbia College. Though extremely active and busy, he finds time to be Asst. Director of the Youth Program at Missouri United Methodist Church.
