Mark's actual DOB was March 31st, 1959. We share that birthday, and although we were not close friends, I can attest that he was an excellent student and an outstanding athlete. He was well-liked by everybody, and was one of the leaders of our class. He was diagnosed with cancer the year after we graduated, and passed a few years later. Taken way too early, I think about what he might have accomplished if he had been given the chance. RIP.
