After basic training I spent 2 years at Chanute AFB, Rantoul, Illinois attending flight simulation electronics school and after school I was held over and trained as an instructor at the school (1965-67). My final assignment was at March AFB, Riverside, California where I was as assistant crew chief for the KC-135 flight simulator, I was also a backup technician for the B52 flight simulator. I was stationed at March from 1967-69. Released from active duty in 1969 , served 2 years inactive reserves and received my honorable discharge in 1971.
