About Me	Graduated from Robert W. Groves High School in JUN of 1967, I enlisted in the United States Air Force, Security Police Squadron/K- 9, as part of the South Vietnam War. While serving stateside, I volunteer for two tours in the South Vietnam Theater (Saigon, and Bien Hoa). Following my military service, I attended four years of college at Armstrong State College (Criminal Justice Program), in 1971. Soon after, I went to work at the Chatham County Sheriff’s Department, as a Senior Deputy Sheriff/Superior Court Division. Later, I transferred to the Chatham County Police Department, as a Police Officer. Eventually, I followed a federal law enforcement career as a result of my education and basic law enforcement experience. I became employed with the U.S. Department of Justice/Federal Bureau of Prisons (MAR 1980 – JUN 1981), as a Federal Correctional Officer in NC. Also, an extensive profession with the U.S. Department of Homeland Security/ Bureau of Immigration and Customs Enforcement/Homeland Security Investigations, and the U.S. Department of the Treasury/U.S. Customs Service/Office of Investigations (JUN 1983 – NOV 2005), as a Senior Special Agent in GA, LA and TX. Finally, after retirement, doing contractor work, I spent 2 1/2 years as a Border Enforcement Advisor in Basra, Iraq area, for the U.S. Department of State; Bureau of International Narcotics and Law Enforcement Affairs / Civilian Police Assistance Training Team Program. Also, embedded 2 years with the British Army, and 6 months with the United States Army. Plus, 4 years as a Border Management Task Force Executive Mentor in various locations in Afghanistan with the U.S. Department of Defense; Central Command of Counter Narcotics/Counter Narcotics-Terrorism Projects Office, acting on behalf of the U.S. Department of Homeland Security-Border Management Task Force Program.
