| About Me | Thinking the Big Thoughts since 1990. I teach public policy at NC State University in Raleigh,and was at SUNY Albany for 12 years before that. My primary research is in natural disaster policy, with broader interests in theories of agenda setting and policy change. My PhD is from the U of Washington in Seattle, which was one of the best times of my life.
