Beloved son, brother and uncle, Robert "Bob" Holben, 54, passed away on Feb. 19, 2018, at his home in Anchorage, Alaska. He was born on Aug. 10, 1963, in Seward, Alaska.
Bob was the Bethel contracting-sub of Bethel Native Corporation's Chief Estimator. Prior to Bethel, he was with Anchorage School District overseeing construction of schools and renovations.
Bob will be laid to rest in the spring at Cooper Landing, Alaska, next to his father, uncle and aunt.
Bob loved snow machining and boating at his cabin in Big Lake, Alaska, with family and friends. He was always available to help out a friend. Bob didn't have any kids, but loved his niece and nephew like they were his own. To their friends he was known as "Uncle Bob."
