Jim Neumann II
Class of 1964
Army, 3 Years
I enlisted in the Army at the Pentagon in August l964. My outfit, the 82nd Airborne Division, was sent to the Dominican Republic in l965, by President Johnson to allegedly quell Cuban-inspired disruption of elections, there. Most of the action was sniper-firing, etc. There is no place like the USA! I was most proud to receive the Combat Infantryman's Badge and, to be out of there, alive! My last 10 months of service was spent in Hawaii where I learned to surf.

William Gage Glass
Class of 2012
Marine Corps, 1 Years
I was in the Marine Corps reserves. I sadly and unfortunately only got to serve for 9 months because when I was at home on leave after I finished my MOS school out in California at 29 palms. I was driving up on a hill in Pennsylvania to go visit my father and I swerved to miss hitting a deer, I then hit black ice, slid off the road then my car rolled 4 times down an embankmen and hit 6trees. I was in a coma from Easter weekend 2013 through most of November 2014. If I could have been able to served longer I would have done my best to have been in for a few years. I was honorably medicaly discharged as a Lance Corporal.
