About Me	I am married to the love of my life, Dan Grant, and I have the most beautiful daughter named Ava. I have 2 dogs that I love dearly - Jasmine and Roxxi. They are 2/3 of my life. The other 1/3 of my life is my career, extended family and friends. I am a woman that knows exactly what she wants. I am very opinionated and I am brutally honest. I call it like I see it, often out loud and without considering the consequences - this is my blessing as well as my curse. For those in my inner circle, I am the most loyal friend you will ever have. For those I am suspicious of... not so much. I have a strong work ethic, completely unpatient, and I can't stand to be around people who can't keep up with me, the boring, and the ugly. I don't have any time for fake people or the energy to put on a show, so take me as I am or not at all. :) I am extremely passionate (maybe obsessive) about my causes, my beliefs, and my favorite things. This is how I have managed to see Third Eye Blind play over 90 times in concert. Yes, I am a Democrat. I won't try to change your mind about the world, so don't try to change mine and we'll be just fine. I'm the only Democrat in my family, and it's OK. Someone once told me that he knew I was truly a Democrat because now I am making a decent living and I don't mind paying more taxes. This is sort of true - no one likes stroking a check to Uncle Sam, but I don't believe politics is simply about what % income tax that I pay. I believe strongly in women's rights, gay rights and equal opportunity regardless of sex/color/religion/gay, etc.. I am the type of Christian that believes that God loves everyone. I believe that people should be able to marry whomever they love and children are a blessing no matter how they are brought into the world. Living in San Francisco for almost 4 years showed me that two people of the same sex should be treated equally and allowed to marry if they want to. I believe in tougher gun control. As someone famous once said, "the British aren't coming, you fools." I think the Constitution, local laws and biblical laws are forever adapting for the present, or at least they should be. I love to make lists. My lists even have lists. Though I am somewhat obsessive about process and doing things "my way," I do secretly love it when my husband manages to surprise me. For a living, I own Grant Media LLC and I am a sub-contracted vp of sales and marketing for Elite Media.
