After initial trainings was assigned to the 82nd Airborne Division, was then selected to tryout for th US Army Parachute Team "Golden Knights" . After being selected for assignment to USAPT spent the next six years there culminating in winning both the national and world championships as part of the 8 man formation team in 1978.
