| About Me | Have worked as a nurse in hospitals, both at the patient's bedside and in management positions. I have worked in both inpatient/outpatient cardiac rehab settings. I have worked at a Cholesterol Center, in a cardiologist's office and also briefly in an internal medicine clinic. Now I am a nurse Case Manager on a few units at Abbott Northwestern Hospital. My favorite area is still cardiac though! I realize how fortunate I have been to have worked in nursing and have always been able to find a job wherever we've lived in the US due to relocation. I have been married/divorced; lived in New Orleans and Kansas City and back to Minneapolis between each of these moves; traveled to Europe several times; cruised to the Caribbean several times and once to the Hawaiian islands by way of Tahiti, Moorea and Bora Bora; lost my father in 2005 and feel so lucky I had him in my life as long as I did; and realized that what I thought I knew back in high school, really wasn't all that important or all that much compared to...(read more) |
