About	Claudelle Carruthers, Class of 1979, graduated from the University of Minnesota (BA, PdD) and practiced as an occupational therapist and physical therapist around the Twin Cities. She died at age 44 following a four-year battle with an autoimmune disease. She is survived by her mother, husband, and three girls. I (husband) always gave her a hard time for having graduated from "The Best High School in the World" as that is the way she talked about it.
