Reunion for All Alumni

WHAT: Riverton Parke Jr. Sr. High School Reunion

WHEN: Saturday, October 17th, 2009

WHERE: First, we'll meet at the south side of the courthouse square. This will be during the Covered Bridge Festival and will allow people to bring their families. There will already be food vending booths available. There are picnic tables set up outside, but the "Coke Tent" is also available with seating, in case of rain.

Second, we'll head over to the Rosedale Tavern for further "adult socialization". The tavern is currently owned by Jamie Harrison (class of '94). In 2008, he had his first hog/turtle roast, complete with a DJ, horseshoes, & karaoke. I just spoke with him and he will try to do the same for us on our reunion night! He said he might even see if he can get a band.

For those of you who don't already know, Rosedale has a new bar called Knuckleheads. Both bars are on friendly terms and Jim said that if our crowd happens to get too large, he's sure that Knuckleheads will welcome us. I'll call the owner & let him know what we have planned for that evening (in case he/she would like to provide some entertainment as well).

WHAT TIME: You can bring your family to the festival as early as you want (booths open at 9am). If you do, I'm sure you will see some old friends wandering around. However, the official meeting time will be set for 4pm. Be aware that the vending booths close at 6pm. After this, we'll head over to the Rosedale Tavern.
