About	Marie Rooney Obituary Rooney, Marie Found Eternal Peace surrounded by family and friends on September 10, 2011, at the age of 60. Loving wife and companion of 44 years to Steven. Loving mother of Kelly (Aaron) Silverman and dear Nana of Zella Rose. Cherished daughter of Marie Mandella. Dear sister of Paul (Kathy) and Anthony (Laura) Mandella. Further survived by her nephews, Paul, Nicholas, Anthony and Vincent. Deeply missed by aunts, uncles, cousins and many, many close friends. Marie was a gifted and dedicated therapist, teacher and student. She worked for 23 years as an Occupational Therapist and Supervisor at the Milwaukee County Mental Health Complex and earned her Masters Degree in Social Work. She was the recipient of many awards including the Lifetime Achievement Award from the Wisconsin Occupational Therapy Association. Marie touched many in both her personal life and throughout her professional career. Together we mourn the loss of a dear friend, a loving family member, a respected mentor, and a truly remarkable person. Visitation Friday, September 16, 2011, at Three Holy Women - St Hedwig Catholic Church, 1704 N. Humboldt Ave., from 10AM until time of the Memorial Mass at 12 noon.
