Lost & Found River Valley High School Class Rings

It was an early snowstorm in November of 1949 and our chickens where nesting in the trees. All family members grabbed a handful and put them in the chicken house. Returning to a warm kitchen, my ring was missing. It was on the John Bay farm (now occupied by a Linn. six miles north of Correctionville, on the Ridge Road. It is probably west of the house. I graduated in 1950 and lost my ring while rescuing chickens from an early snowstorm in late 1950. It is somewhere on the Linn Farm north on the Ridge Road boardering Cherokee county, probably in the homestead within 200 feet west of the main house

My Class Ring was lost. It is in a farm field north of Correctionville or in a ditch. Was lost chasing cows. It is from Eastwood Community School, now River Valley School. I graduated in 1973 from Eastwood. My initials are on the ring but after all these years who knows if they will be able to read what is on the ring. It was lost in 1972.
