Schavey, Johnny A. 40, from New Chicago, IN, passed away on June 5, 2011. He is preceded in death by his mother, Susan M. Schavey (Santmyre). He is survived by his father, Dennis W. Schavey, of Largo. FL; brother, James W. Schavey, of Hobart, IN; sisters, Mikki M. Schavey, of Hobart, IN, and Samantha S. Rosas (Schavey), Lake Station, IN; children Susan (Suzie) Schavey, of Northwood, OH, Nicklaus Schavey, of Northwood, OH, Kori Schavey, of Hobart, IN, Malachaie Schavey, of Hobart, IN and Brandon Wright, Commiskey, IN; granddaughter Maci Schavey, of Northwood, OH; nieces Britney Schavey, Crystal Schavey, Molly Schavey; and nephews Aaron Schavey, Drake Wertz, and Ian Schavey. He was a member of the New Chicago Fire Dept. from 1995 2005. A Memorial Service will be held June 25, 2011 at New Chicago Fire Dept., 127 Huber Blvd, Hobart, IN from 1-4 pm (service at 3).
