About Me	After graduation I served in the Navy, spent 18 months in the Nam. I married Susan Boyle of Emerson, and we just celebrated our 51st wedding anniversary. We have two grown daughters, Diane & Jenna. I worked in Newark, NJ as VP of Operations and Facilities for Consolco Inc., a Property Management Company. After the Navy we lived in Parsippany, NJ for 25 years, where I was a Volunteer Fire Chief of Parsippany District Five. We moved to Bound Brook, NJ and was there for nineteen years. I was the Coordinator of the Office of Emergency Management for four years. I served seven years on the Board of Education. I was elected to the town council and served for a three year term from 2009-2011. During my time on the council I served as liasion to the Public Safety Committee, which made me both Police & Fire Commissioner. I was Commander of Giles-Bondi Bound Brook American Legion Post #63. I also served a American Legion Somerset County Commander. Was elected in 2017 as Department of New Jersey Vice Commander of the American Legion. I was also District Commander for the VFW. I have since moved to LSD....Lower Slower Delaware since as a Senior can no longer afford the New Jersey Taxes. I belong to Mason Dixon VFW Post 7234, and serve as their Senior Vice Commander and Chairman of the Board of Directors. Sue and I spend as much time at the beach as possible although I still work part time at Lowe's just to keep myself busy. For relaxation I ride a 1995 Honda Goldwing. . . . or spent tim...(read more)
