George Carazo died of cancer of the esophagus. He had recently retired from being Head of Personnel of the PUC of California. He was a graduate of San Francisco State University, where he majored in Creative Writing. He was born in San Francisco and continued to live there until his death. Along with his beloved wife Cathy he is burie din the Italian Cemetery in Colma.
