| About Me | Lived in Sacto until 1979, then moved up to Lake Tahoe. Did a lot of sking and hilking. In 1983 I left on a one year bicycle trip to Australia, New zealand, and Hawaii. Upon returning in 1984 I moved to Santa Barbara. I love the natural beauty of the Santa Barbara area. I worked in retail in various management and buying positions for 12 yrs. In 1997 I opened my own retail store with a partner. After one year I left the partnership and opened another retail store on my own. I continued to own and operate my clothing store until January of 2009, at which time I decided closed my business due to the economic climate. I now work as a secretary for the Santa Barbara County Education Office. The SBCEO is a liaison between the State and the SB School districts, and runs federal and state funded programs within the Santa Barbara School system. I have two stepchildren and one grandson, who is five. My husband and I currently have custody of our grandson, who keeps our lives busy and challenging. I have traveled some and plan to do more.
