Toby Browning
Class of 1976
You could say Toby Browning's career started at Rio Americano. Toby was the deep-voiced DJ of the on-campus radio station KRIO. Featured as Rio's "Boy Wonder", Toby began working in the radio and commercial voice-over business as a high school teen. Today, Toby owns his own production company in Los Angeles where he is the official voice of the Los Angeles Lakers, as well as the CBS affiliate KCBS, and it's independent sister station, KCAL 9. Toby's work also includes commercials, motion picture trailers and promotions in television and radio. Once a shy and lanky classmate, Toby's voice has reached millions of listeners all over Southern California and the world.
