Robert B. Cox, 44, of Ringgold passed away Tuesday, November 7, 2023. Robert was a lifelong resident of the Chattanooga and North Georgia area. He was a 1997 graduate of Ringgold High School where he played football and was a three-time state champion in wrestling. Robert was a United States Marine Corps Veteran serving in Desert Storm and in Japan. After his military career, Robert worked as a Diesel Mechanic throughout the area. Robert was a beloved father and friend. He loved spending time with his family and friends, and he was always there to lend a helping hand to those in need. Robert was fun, outgoing, and he loved children because he was a child at heart. He enjoyed cars and “tinkering” with them. Robert will be missed by his family and friends.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Clyde and Sharon Cox.
Survivors include three children, Klaudya Cox, Kadance Cox, and Robert Cox, Jr.; granddaughter, Autumn Gonzalez; and numerous other family and friends.

Graveside services will be held Friday, December 1, 2023, at 1:30p.m. at the Chattanooga National Cemetery with Military Honors provided by the U.S. Marine Corps and the American Legion Post 95.
Arrangements are by the South Crest Chapel of Lane Funeral Home and Crematory, Rossville, GA.
