Wish I hadn't I lost track of him after graduation" and, sadly, by the time I retired and started trying to contact him he did not receive my message. That was some time after 2006. So sad to hear he is gone. Would like to know more about his life and his passing. I have always hoped that his later life was easier than his youth. Please let me know if you have any information about him.

His name is misspelled in your obituary. Its spelled S-a-l-g-a-d-o. In a very different cultural climate Ronnie was one of three openly gay guys who were part of the student body during my 4 years at Rincon. None of them openly "came out" but their speech and demeanor fanned the gossip. In retrospect I think they were aware of the gossip but didn't allow it to affect their conduct. I've ultimately concluded that their conduct was courageous.
