About	Obituary Miss Miller died Friday, October 14, 1975, as a result of injuries sustained in an auto Accident in Maricopa. Miss Miller attended Joe Nightingale Elementary School, Lakeview Jr. High School, and as a junior at Ernest Righetti High School. She was a member of Righetti Future Farmers of America, Righetti Pet Club, Los Lomitas 4-H Club, Orcutt Riders, Central Coast Paint Horse Club and the American Paint Horse Association. She was also FFA chapter sweetheart in 1974. Miss Miller was enroute to Bakersfield to attend her first show with a new paint horse when the accident occurred. The horse was killed in the accident. She is survived by her parents, Dr. Roland and Sally Miller of Santa Maria; her paternal grandparents Dr. and Mrs. Norman Miller of Santa Maria; her maternal grandparents, Mr. and Mrs. John Hallman of Davenport, Iowa; two uncles, Dr. Robert Miller of Santa Maria and Mr. Edwin Schuman Jr. of Waterloo, Iowa; and an aunt, Mrs. Phyllis Miller Fetterolf of Santa Maria. A Righetti FFA scholarship fund was established as a memorial to Miss Miller.
